Using drones in real estate is the next step for a large group of real estate professionals. In July, nearly a third of the 500 commercial drone permits issued by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) went to real estate businesses. The most popular use by these businesses – showcasing listings using video captured by the drones.
This technology takes real estate marketing to a whole new level. But, how long until this becomes accessible by ALL real estate agents?
I recently came across an article in Housingwire.com regarding the use of drones in the real estate industry. NAR has embraced this high tech technological use of real estate drones and the FAA has streamlined a waiver process for individual professionals and businesses to use drones.
It is an interesting read.
